Conservative Baby Boom, Liberal Baby Bust

In a trend that's found worldwide as well as in the U.S.: Liberals are much less likely to have children than conservatives.

That trend "augers a far more conservative future - one in which patriarchy and other traditional values make a comeback, if only by default," Phillip Longman, a fellow at the New America Foundation, writes in an essay in USA Today.

"Childlessness and small families are increasingly the norm today among progressive secularists. As a consequence, an increasing share of all children born into the world are descended from a share of the population whose conservative values have led them to raise large families."

Conservatives, most of whom are pro-life, are also less likely to have abortions than are their politically liberal counterparts. Liberals, in essence, may be killing their own future through abortion.

Longman points to these figures:

In the U.S., 47 percent of people who attend church weekly say their ideal family size is three or more children, but only 27 percent of those who seldom attend church feel that way.

In Utah, where more than two-thirds of residents are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 92 children are born each year for every 1,000 women. Vermont - the first state to embrace gay unions - has the nation's lowest rate: 51 children per 1,000 women.

The average fertility rate in states that voted for President Bush in 2004 is more than 11 percent higher than the rate in states that voted for Sen. John Kerry.

Demographic data show that in Europe today, progressives who say they find soft drugs, homosexuality and euthanasia acceptable are far more likely to live alone or be in childless, cohabiting unions than those with more conservative views.

Longman also points out that nearly 20 percent of American women born in the late 1950s are reaching the end of their reproductive lives without having children.

Therefore, "the greatly expanded childless segment of contemporary society, whose members are drawn disproportionately from the feminist and countercultural movements of the 1960s and '70s, will leave no genetic legacy," writes Longman, author of "The Empty Cradle: How Falling Birthrates Threaten World Prosperity and What to Do About It."

He concludes that tomorrow's children "will be for the most part descendants of a comparatively narrow and culturally conservative segment of society."

Liberals are killing themselves off and are too stupid to figure it out. Conservatives have to write books about it and tell them. As I told you before, liberalism is a self-annihilating cult which will eventually destroy itself and everyone else who permits it to. The beast is dying but just has not finished kicking yet. Keep fighting by voting conservative and it will become a horrible story of the past. Hang in there and keep praying.

Also, I have been watching the liberal media dying. Recently ViaCom divested (a nice word for dumped) CBS because the ultraliberal broadcast company was bleeding money. They had managed to cover up for years that CBS was losing money but, with the new accounting laws, they couldn't cover it up any more and were forced to junk it. Now CBS has the extremely difficult job of turning business around but they are caught between a rock and a hard spot.

They obviously preferred to use CBS for promoting their ultraliberal agenda and propaganda to making money for the network in spite of their responsibilities to their share holders. On the other hand, you can't lose money forever and stay in business even if all of your share holders wanted to use the network to promote their liberal lies, myths, and propaganda.

This is exactly what I told you would happen years ago. If all of the broadcast companies stayed liberal, sooner or later, they would begin to go under because the decreasing liberal population won't be able to sustain and support all the media forever. Sooner or later, they must start moving to the right or go out of business.

It is like pulling teeth but they have been gradually and grudgingly making that move to survive. With CBS bleed money so badly, the big question is, will they make the move fast enough before at least one of the top broadcast networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, or CNN, goes under. I guarantee that, after the first one goes bust and their journalists and other employees find themselves fighting to find a new job in an increasingly conservative market, the rest will rush to the right to keep from facing the same disaster.

I have noticed that the turnover for liberal TV shows is increasing with them staying on the air shorter and shorter. The liberals running the networks are frantically trying to find liberal shows that can last more than a few months but it is getting tougher as more and more liberals die off each week with fewer and fewer replacements taking their places.

If you conservatives just keep not watching these terrible liberal shows, they will keep going away until the share holders realize that the money is now in the conservative market. Then you will see a massive change in media programming with the liberal media gods heading for the unemployment line.

To those who didn't believe me; I told you so....again. Only I told you so years ago. It will only keep getting better for the conservatives and worse for the liberals because the liberals got what they wanted. They have made it clear they will go down kicking and screaming. I am learning to enjoy watching their very dramatic and frantic sitcom. They deserve it.
