The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that Russia is not Gog and Magog in the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39. To understand why, we have to look at a complex combination of history, religion, geography, and politics so this essay will probably get a wee bit long and complex. We have a lot of dots to connect.

First, we have to keep in mind that, after the Tribulation begins, there will only be four military campaigns left before the Final Judgment. These are, in order, the campaign right at the very start of the Tribulation and following the Antichrist signing a 7 year treaty with Israel in which 25% of the people on the planet will die, the campaign later where the Muslims will raise up a 200 million man army east of the Euphrates and conquer everything to the east, killing one third of the global population, (meaning the first campaign had to conquer everything to the west of Israel to the Pacific Ocean), Armageddon at the end of the Tribulation in which Jesus will wage the battle and there will be a 100% mortality rate, and the war at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Jesus, which God the Father will fight and there will be a 100% mortality rate.

Did you notice that Jesus and God don't take any prisoners when they fight a war?

We also have to keep in mind that, if even just one detail for two prophesies is different, then they MUST be two different events because God can't be wrong about any prophesy. Therefore, the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 cannot be any of those battles because the details for the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 differ significantly from the details for all of those battles. This means that the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 MUST take place prior to the beginning of the Tribulation, which we know will soon begin, which means that the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 MUST take place soon, very soon.

But, looking at current situations, there are things which must take place before the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 can take place.

Please note that many preachers falsely teach that the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 is the same as Armageddon but all of the details for those two events are very different. The ONLY similarity between those two battles is that they will both take place in Northern Israel during the end times but the exact locations are at least 75 to 100 miles apart, with Armageddon taking place in the Valley of Megiddo, south of the current Israeli northern border, and the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 will take place in what used to be called the "Northern hills of Israel", which are in current Lebanon and Syria, you know, north of the Israeli border; the mortality rate for Armageddon will be 100% and the mortality rate for the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 will be 83.3% or 5 out of 6; and Jesus will kill the entire enemy force at Armageddon but God will cause a massive earthquake that will cause the enemy to become confused and turn their weapons on each other for the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39. These two prophesies CANNOT be about the same battle or God was seriously wrong with at least one of the two prophesies and, if God is wrong about anything, He can be wrong about everything so our salvation would be meaningless.

The prophesy about Ezekiel 38 & 39 says that Gog and Magog will bring a massive army from a number of nations down onto the Northern hills of Israel or into Syria and Lebanon. As Mark pointed out, ALL of the nations listed who will join battle against Israel are today Muslim run nations which are calling for the destruction of Israel.

Gee, what a coincidence!

Note that Russia is not a Muslim run nation calling for the destruction of Israel but Turkey is a Muslim run nation that regularly calls for all Muslim nations to unite to destroy Israel.

Gog and Magog were ancient towns and areas in what is today Turkey.

Then how did people begin to believe that Gog and Magog mean Russia?

To understand that, we have to study some history and religion.

First, the Church of Rome was founded more than 2,500 years ago by the Roman Senate to assimilate all the pagan religions of Rome into one religion to stop fighting between those religions that had begun and to unify the people of Rome under one church and religion. As Rome conquered new lands, the Church of Rome systematically assimilated the conquered pagan religions into the church based on similarities. For example, the Church of Rome got its prayer beads from Sabianism and the Christmas tree or Yule tree from the Germanic tribes.

The Church of Rome wasn't able to assimilate Judaism because there were too many major differences between the two religions so the Church of Rome permitted the Hebrews to have their own autonomous religion under the condition that the Hebrews did not rebel against the government of Rome and did not try to convert people out of the Church of Rome. The Church of Rome was a power and control thingy, you know, like the fictional Borg of Star Trek.

After Jesus founded Christianity in Israel and was murdered by the Hebrews and Romans, the Christians (all Hebrews at that time) began to convert other Hebrews to Christianity so some of the Hebrews began to murder the Christians who fled Jerusalem and then Israel. Everywhere the Christians went, they converted both Hebrews and Gentiles to Christianity, which caused the Church of Rome to begin losing control of their own people. This caused the Church of Rome to also turn on and persecute the Christians so that some of the Hebrews (not all) and the Church of Rome worked together for about 300 years persecuting and murdering Christians, both Hebrews and Gentiles.

During that 300 years of persecution by the pagans and some Hebrews, the Christian population exploded. In the 4th Century, Constantine realized that the persecution of Christians wasn't working and was actually backfiring on the Church of Rome so he had the Church of Rome "convert" (kind of, sorta; mostly just in name) to Christianity in order to assimilate their Gentiles back into the Church of Rome.

To prevent the Hebrews from being able to convert the Gentile Christians back out of the Church of Rome, Constantine had the Church of Rome "Romanize" the Bible and end time prophesies, told the people of Rome that the Hebrews had murdered their God, Jesus, and drove a wedge between the Gentiles and Hebrews so the Gentiles would not listen to the Hebrews but to the Church of Rome. Yep, it was and still is definitely a control thingy.

Note that not all of the Gentile Christians were fooled into being assimilated back into the mostly pagan Church of Rome. Many of them stayed underground with the Hebrew Christians and became known as "Baptists" because they practiced full emersion baptism just like the devout Hebrews.

At this time, the Roman Empire extended from modern England down to Egypt and from Spain east into the Middle East ruling all around the Mediterranean Sea.

Later the Roman Empire split in two with east and west empires. The Western empire was based in Rome and the Eastern empire, which later became the Byzantine Empire, was based in Constantinople, which later became Istanbul and controls the Bosporus Straits (don't forget that).

When the empire split in two, the Church of Rome split in two with the Western part of the Church of Rome being based in Rome and became the Catholic Church and the Eastern part of the Church of Rome being based in Constantinople and became the Orthodox Christian Church (don't forget that) and the two churches became enemies...most of the time. There have been a few times they worked together against a common enemy.

After the Muslims conquered the Byzantine Empire, they renamed Constantinople to Istanbul and seized all of the Orthodox Christian churches, turning them into Muslim mosques. The largest one is still the largest Muslim mosque in the world.

When this happened, the Orthodox Church moved its headquarters to Moscow, Russia (don't forget that).

To drive a wedge between the Europeans and Russia/the Orthodox Church, the Catholic Church said that Gog and Magog represented Russia because, "Hey, some of the people from Magog, Turkey probably moved to Russia," and that "Rosh, Persia sounded kind of like Russia so it must be true," when Rosh actually represents Persia or modern Iran.

Note that I have actually seen these two explanations being taught.

So, here we are in the End Times with many people believing the Europe based prophesy crap that Russia is Gog and Magog while Gog and Magog are communities in Turkey and Rosh was a community in modern Iran, Russia is working with Israel against Iran, Turkey, and Syria to prevent the invasion of Israel, while Russia is trying to prevent the takeover of Syria by the Western upper class trash, and Turkey and Iran are openly calling for the invasion and destruction of Israel, and, VERY IMPORTANTLY, Putin is a devout Orthodox Christian who would love to be the one to take back Constantinople and his former Orthodox Christian churches for his church (don't forget that).

Have you noticed that Russia does very little and, often, nothing to protect Iran and her proxy, Hezbollah, from Israeli planes, bombs, and missiles while working with Israel? Have you noticed that Putin even allows Israel to attack some of Syria's forces that may pose a threat to Israel?

But it gets better.

Recently Russia refused to submit to building the lefty commie traitor global dictatorship so the globalists put sanctions against Russia so Putin cut off the oil and gas he is sending through pipes in Ukraine to Eastern Europe to fight back. So the Western upper class trash and Obama staged a coup in Ukraine and put a loyal commie puppet in control of Ukraine to get control of those pipes and the only warm weather sea ports Russia has, which are in the Black Sea, so Putin fought back by taking Crimea back to regain control of some of those ports and is trying to get Ukraine back to get back control of the rest of those ports and Russia's pipelines feeding oil and gas to Eastern Europe (don't forget that).

You have to understand that prior to the Soviet Union, Ukraine was part of Russia but was separated out from Russia as a separate state within the Soviet Union by Khrushchev under his rule of the Soviet Union, because he was from Ukraine. When the Soviet union fell, Ukraine broke away as a separate nation taking control of Russia's only warm weather ports but they were working together for both of their benefits until the West staged a coup and put one of their puppets in control of Ukraine, which put Russia in a real bind.

To get around Russia's oil and gas Eastern Europe depended on, the upper class trash decided to run pipelines from the Arabian Peninsula to Eastern Europe through Syria, a Russian ally, but Assad refused so Obama and his commie upper class trash pals decided to remove Assad and replace him with a puppet just like they did in Ukraine, who would permit the building of the pipelines so Putin is helping Assad, who is also an ally of Iran, defeat Obama's and the upper class trash's proxy army, ISIS, because Assad was loyal to his ally, Russia.

But Putin is also working with Israel to prevent Iran, Hezbollah, and Turkey from staging troops along the Israeli border to invade Israel but, at the same time, Putin is working with Turkey to build oil and gas pipelines from Russia through Turkey to Southern Europe to sell Southern Europe oil and gas and to develop some control over Southern Europe to help prevent sanctions against Russia.

This should tell you that Turkey ain't too loyal to its European NATO allies.

But, it gets better. Yes, I know, this is a very complex and tangled web they have spun.

We know that the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 must happen soon because it must happen before the Tribulation and the Tribulation will happen soon. But there is a wee bit of a problem with this right now, which will require at least a temporary solution for those who want to destroy Israel.

You see, the only reason why Israel still exists is because the US is her number one ally and has been committed to keeping her intact. For decades, the European nations have been working to help the Muslim nations destroy Israel but the US has kept helping Israel survive.

Gee, you think that maybe God created the US as the greatest nation in the history of the world in part to protect Israel from destruction?

Therefore, for the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 to happen, the US must be removed as an obstacle for invading and destroying Israel. The US MUST either get out of the way of the Muslim nations or help them destroy Israel.

Obama almost had the US ready to stage a coup and set up a commie/Muslim dictatorship that would have not stood in the way of conquering Israel and was actually building their CNSF or Citizen National Security Force to help with the invasion and Hillary would have finished the job of getting rid of Israel but Trump won the election and has been destroying the lefty plans for a US and then global dictatorship, which means Trump must be removed before they can destroy Israel and He must be removed soon, which is why Obama is currently working with the lefties and Muslims to find a way to get rid of Trump, seize control of the US government, and invade Israel.

How long will the lefties/Muslims have to have control of the US government and forcing Sharia Law on us?

Conservatively estimating, it will take Obama and his deep state at least a few weeks to obtain enough control of the government and he will have to mobilize his CNSF and transport the entire army with weapons to Syria and Lebanon, which will take from 6 to 12 months. Therefore, Obama and his criminal pals will have to have control of the US for at least 6 months to 1.5 years before the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 will happen and we can start our civil war to free our nation from their oppressive commie/Muslim rule.

Remember that I told you and had been praying about knowing how much land Israel will take following the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 and that God showed me that she will take enough land to physically separate the Western and Eastern Muslim nations as prophesied in Daniel by the Muslim Caliphate being the two feet of the image?

This means that Israel will take at least from the Euphrates River and the Nile River down to the Indian Ocean on both sides of the Red Sea. Note that land all includes land from Muslim nations which will send armies to invade Israel. Also, you can bet that at least one of the reasons she will take control of this much land will be because the Muslims will blockade the Straits of Aden and Suez Canal to devastate Israel's economy and Israel will therefore want to take control of both of those waterways to prevent that from happening again.

Remember that I was still wondering whether Israel will fudge by slipping through that narrow space between the Euphrates River and the Mediterranean Sea to take the rest of Turkey?

I don't think she will and think it is very likely that Russia will take that part of Turkey following the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39.

First, let me state that, after all of those nations fall in the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39 so that there won't be any armies to oppose Israel from taking all of the land she will need to take that there will also be no armies to oppose Russia in taking what she needs to take. It is going to be one great big land rush, baby, with Russia and Israel grabbing a lot of land.

I believe Putin is smart enough to quickly realize the opportunity to seize back control of Ukraine and Transnitria (possibly also Moldova) to regain control of Russia's warm weather ports and pipelines, possibly with almost no resistence. He will also realize that, when Erdogan dies in Damascus with his Muslim pals from Turkey and most of the Turkish Army, there will be a massive power vacuum in Turkey.

Now, do you think Putin will sit on his butt and wait for just anyone to take over Turkey and the Bosporus Straits to continue to cause the troubles for Russia the European upper class trash have been causing him?

No, Putin will take the rest of Turkey to seize control of the Bosporus Straits to gain complete control of his warm weather sea ports in the Black Sea, take Istanbul and rename it Constantinople, seize the Christian Orthodox churches currently being used as mosques, return those churches to being Christian Orthodox churches, and probably get saint hood from the Orthodox Church, you know, Saint Putin, gain control of his oil and gas pipelines he is currently running through Turkey, and be able to use Turkey's warm weather ports to build his economy.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for Putin and you can bet that, if he is still alive and in control of Russia, he will take advantage of that great opportunity for Russia.

The Irony here is that Erdogan trying to revive the Muslim Ottoman Empire with Erdogan as emir, he may make it possible for Putin to revived the Orthodox Christian Byzantine Empire after almost 600 years with Putin as the emperor. I wouldn't put something like that past God because He loves irony.

Remember that I told you that, after the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39, the Muslims nations will combine to form a new Caliphate which will be divided into east and west portions with five rulers from the eastern part and five rulers from the western part?

What will have to happen for this to happen?

First, you have to get rid of all of the power mad whacko rulers running those nations. You have to understand that, in the end time prophesy for Islam, their Mahdi or messiah will stand on the Temple Mount and give the order to kill all remaining Hebrews and Christians, which, of course, is how a person can prove he is the Mahdi and his right to rule over all of Islam.

All of these power mad whacko rulers running the Muslim nations want to be that Mahdi and rule the world so, of course, they don't want to give up or share power. Obama thinks he is the Mahdi of Islam and should rule the world.

Now you have to understand that, when the Muslims bring their armies down onto the Northern Hills of Israel in current Syria and Lebanon, their leaders will all gather in Damascus to try and make alliances with each other that will permit them to be the one who will stand on the Temple Mount and give that order. These power mad whacko leaders will be making and breaking deals right and left to get a chance to rule the world.

God will destroy these power mad whacko leaders when he destroys Damascus the way He did Sodom and Gomorrah. That plus the Muslim nations losing 83.3% of their armies will cause such a massive power vacuum in those nations that, in order to maintain control and keep Islam alive, those nations will be forced to unite and form the Caliphate.

Second, you either have to get rid of or make the UN to where it is nothing more than a bunch of gabbing, whining losers. As long as the UN is significant, the Muslims want to remain a group of nations because, as a group of nations, each nation gets one vote in the UN, which means the Muslim countries get more than half the votes in the UN and have a significant say about what goes on in the world but, as one nation or the Caliphate, all of them combined will get only one vote in the UN. Therefore, as long as the UN is significant, it benefits Islam for these nations to remain independent nations.

When all of these Muslim nations stage their troops to invade Israel, they will have made the UN meaningless and proved that it has failed as a concept. Therefore, when these Muslim nations combine to invade Israel, they will have destroyed the UN just by sending troops for that invasion, opening the door for them to later form the Caliphate.

You also need to understand that, after all of their other plans have failed, their militaries have been decimated, and their leaders are dead so that they must form the Caliphate, the Muslims will have to pull all of the Muslims from non Muslims countries around the world back to the Caliphate to quickly build the Caliphate into a huge military and economical super power to quickly conquer the world, which will leave our nations free from the mischief currently being caused by the Muslims in our countries. For the short term, that will be good but for the long term, not so much.

You have to understand that, after most of the world's armies have been destroyed in the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39, if the Muslims quickly form the Caliphate and build into a military super power, they will be able to quickly conquer a weakened and defenseless world. You better bet they will see and seize this opportunity, which will fulfill Bible prophesy.

This is my analysis based on scripture and the current situation but, hey, things can change. This is what I have been following most closely for years.
